Resilient and Caring: Life at Stoney Point Meadows

Stoney Point Meadows is a 95‑apartment senior living community offering Assisted Living and Memory Care. Our six‑acre campus sits in the quiet countryside meadows of southwest Cedar Rapids.

We opened in 2019. Less than a year later, COVID‑19 changed everything. With a small census and many unknowns, we needed to help families understand the benefits of community living and find safe ways to move loved ones into our building.

Then, in August 2020, the Cedar Rapids derecho struck. The storm damaged parts of our building, and we spent nearly five days with little to no power. Residents needed to be moved to safer areas, and our team worked nonstop to support them. Through every challenge, our staff and residents were true champions.

Fast‑forward to today. Most of our original management team are still here, and our census is now over 90%. We’ve earned multiple customer‑experience awards in Customer Service, Collaboration, Excellence in Service, and Most Recommended. We are grateful for the trust families place in us every day.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of our coworkers and residents, who so often become like family to us. We are grateful for the chance to work together, support one another, and serve our community with care and excellence. Give us strength, patience, and wisdom as we work in unity. May all we do reflect Your love and grace, and may we continue to encourage one another every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You’ll find spacious, private apartments, delicious dining and beautiful community spaces to gather with friends. Pets are welcome, too!
